Despite Bob's paranoia I'd guess that the power companies share your credit info as well.
If you want credit then you'll have to fill in their forms and give them the info they want otherwise you wont get it.
In the end it's not unreasonable that they want to know who they are giving potentially £1000's of credit to.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
