If you check on his other contributions you might see that he shouldn't really get fed. Certainly not as much as he is in this thread.

No doubt when you get a ticket from one of these scamming companies for being 5 minutes over time because you had to queue to get out of a badly managed car park you will pay up with joy!

This was because the OP parked outside of the bays. Sounds like a very well-managed car park to me.

Did they fix the problem? Ask him to move it?

They didn't do any management. They found a trivial infringement, issued an invoice and then kept looking for other trivial infringements to invoice.

They couldnt! He parked up, badly, and then left his vehicle obstructing two spaces. They left him a note reminding him never to do that again! A lesson well learnt, I suspect!

You're a nuisance to this forum, perhaps a Highjack Charge Notice would teach you a lesson? Since forum etiquette is to not hijack threads, would you be so kind as to refrain from posting on MSE for 100 hours or 60 hours if you admit to your wrong doing within 14 hours?

How have I hijacked? I am responding to the original thread, ABOUT the original topic?? No hijack here! Just because you dont agree with me, or more to the point, because I dont agree with YOU, does not make me wrong!

I too would like to take up two spaces to protect the bodywork of my much-loved vehicle, but realise that a) this is inconsiderat and b) it's against the rules. The rules that are clearly displayed. Whilst I agree that the charge is probably excessive, it is justified, in my opinion.

Because your posts have absolutely nothing to offer the OP, you are simply using the thread as a soap box for your opinion. How do your posts actually contribute to the resolution of the OP's query?

He parked slightly over the line, there's no indication anyone was prevented from parking.

They also didn't leave him a note reminding him not to do it again; in fact they'll happily let them do it again if he pays them £60 a pop.

Proper car park management is when there's a bloke in a hi-vis vest that spots the bad parking and asks him to move it an inch to the right, or helps him into a space. Invoicing is not management. Mostly likely said "car park manager" watched him park, leave, and then scurried over to stick an invoice on it. Because that's all the care about; the commission for invoices.

26 MISS COATES: Because obviously when we have parking attendants advising motorists on

27 parking it can cause problems further down the line, so we have a policy where parking attendants do

28 not advise on parking. If he has issued a notice, a parking attendant will advise the motorist to appeal

29 in writing to the company.

car park attendants feer for there lives so much that they cannot do "mitigation" or ask someone to move there car , its so much easier to
