My daughter is about to work on a cruise ship. Can anyone suggest an Insurance Company/Travel Policy that would cover her for a period of upto a year away.

travel insurance probably wont be appropriate. Even an annual policy as they usually have a maximum period set that you can be on holiday at a time. Also, she isnt on holiday, she is working.
Does the employer provide anything in this respect?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Travel insurance usually excludes trips made for a working purpose. Wouldn;t she be covered by workers compensation whilst on the ship?
Could be worth checking with the enployer.
She also may want ancillary cover for her own private excursions on shore.
