There's places like ITunes, Napster, MSN Music, Woolworths, HMV and the list goes on.
Their prices and formats differ. Remember they all use DRM to protect their music.
What does your son plan to do with the music? Just play it on the PC or transfer it to his Ipod or MP3 player?Dave. :wave:0 -

If he's doing that and buying the music legally from UK sites, it doesn't really matter where you're downloading from.
Remember that the music will need to be burned as an audio file for use on normal CD players, unless it plays MP3 files.
If you're planning on downloading whole albums, I advise buying the CD instead. You'll find that buying the CD online will be just as cheap as downloading it.Dave. :wave:0 -
I can vouch for what flan flinger said about burning as an audio!! I burned one the other day in MP3 format for my car and wondered for a while why it wouldn't play!! Had to burn it all over again.
If you are using other (illegal) download sites (few of them about and I wont mention any particular ones!) be aware that I think these are file sharing types - not exactly sure what this means but I do know that even with protection on your pc you can get all sorts of virus's. I'm sure that someone more knowledgable here will tell you more.0 -
