Hotel Payment On Arrival

I have booked a hotel in Amsterdam through booking.com and have booked it so that I pay on arrival. I have never paid on arrival before and do I have to pay on the card I reserved on?

I've never had to. They'll just charge the original card if you don't turn up.0
