Is it possible to Upgrade from a HSBC Bank Account to a Advance account online ?

Hi,
I have a HSBC Bank account, the one that you have to fund with £500 per month, there is around £2500 to £3000 a month going in it, so can I just upgrade it online as the minimum funding for the Advance account is £1500 which I meet, or will they automatically invite me to upgrade it due to the level of funding that is going into it ?.

You will have to phone them. Be prepared for a 15 to 20 minute call as they talk through the conditions etc.

i have head they can offer you the upgrade but also you can request it if you have met the conditions for the last 3 months minimum and can continue to meet them.

If you want the upgrade, ring them or visit your branch. There have been cases where they proactively offered it but I'm not sure on the trigger event.
