Close Board Fencing Costs?

Hi we require a 110 feet/33.52 meters fence & was thinking of 'close board', concrete posts & gravel boards & was wondering how much this would cost to have done? Including the average labour costs per day?

Also wondering how much cheaper to have concrete posts but with wooden gravel boards as we thought these could be easily replaced.

Also how much cheaper to have panels with concrete posts & gravel boards instead.

Could you tell how much is expected to pay up front for costs etc?

Appreciate any advice

Thx

You shouln't be worrying about per day labour costs. You need to get a. Supply and fit price. You need to expect to pay £100 to £130 per bay, supply and fit.

Its not worth having larch lap panels they are only £6 -£8cheaperper panel, but are inferior in strength and quality and wont last like a close board panel. There really is no point putting wooden gravel boards in as they will rot. Concrete gravel boards last for years and years.

We are having 10 panels with gravel boards and concrete posts fitted between two lawns and that's going to cost 950.

How does 110 feet equal 10 6 ft panels?

Hi just been given 3 quotes if paying by credit card/check 20% extra for closeboard fencing 110 feet long & 6 ft high.

    All wood £2102.72
With concrete posts & wooden gravel boards £2108.76
With concrete posts & concrete gravel boards £2392.08

Also given the cash in hand prices of which not keen for obvious reasons...
Just like to know your opinion on the prices & situation.

It doesn't but it gives an idea of how much to expect per panel. Standard 5ft6 high panels with a 12" concrete gravel board. 950/10 equals 95 per bay, 60ft of panels x 2 (120ft) so around 1900 for 110 feet of fence.
