FREE LISTING private sellers

As usual check your accounts there seems to be more than one offer on today for private sellers.

I had the usual free listings last week Sunday-Tuesday and today I have another offer of 100 free listings for today only. On the alert thread someone else has a slightly different offer with reduction in FVFS as well.

Worth checking your accounts.

I have 100 free listing 1 day only with 30% or 50% of FV fee's on 2 accounts.(one account has 30 % of FV fee's other has 50%)


both are auction or buy now single quantities.

Looks like the FVF discount varies, mine is 40% on my private account.

you're right, just checked mine and its says 30%, my sister's one is 20%

wonder how they decided the discount, no matter got lots to relist

Gah, I listed around a dozen items yesterday and "today only" I've got 50% off fvfs Now I'm wondering whether to cancel and relist. Anyone know if this will work and if it does any pitfalls?

I got 50%! Although haven't had the 100 offer for an absolute age.

I bit the bullet, cancelled and relisted - and yes, all the listings are now subject to the 50% off fvfs:j The pitfalls? I've lost the watchers - but hopefully they'll come back and if not, if everything sells at starting prices only, I'm still saving around £15 :T(and better in my pocket than ebay's!)

Does any one know how often this discount on FVF comes around? I had 50% yesterday but as a sporadic seller I did not have enough items ready to take advantage. I would like to be better prepared for next time. thanks

List all your items and schedule them to go live as far in the future as possible, then wait for Ebay to have the promotion, then edit (remove the start schedule) the listings to go live.
If you don't get a promo offer remember to edit/re-schedule the listings before they come to the go-live date.
I seem to get the 100 free listings about every two weeks.
