help with tomtom go updating gone wrong

I have just tried to update my tomtom with the latest version and i made a back up and done the update and now my tom tom turns on says it is starting up and then freezes I have tried to do a back up and the back up is all corrupt what can i do helpppppppppppppp please

press the tiny "reset" button .. and start again ?
