The packets I normally see are of 6-6 in each and quite pricey.

Does anyone know where could I get larger quantities(like 50 in a pack maybe) of good quality (not laced with chemicals) for a reasonable price online?

found 50 on zooplus but it is almost £30.00 hmmm

http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/dog_treats_chews/pork/pigs_ears/212937

or per kg here

http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/dog_treats_chews/pork/pigs_ears/393844

difficult to compare as one says a price per piece and the other per kg and not saying how much 1 piece weights or how many pieces in a kg...

Thanks

I always used to buy mine from Zooplus, one time I bought a cheaper box from Amazon but the ears were much smaller.

However, bear in mind that both are quite fatty. You might want to look at cow or rabbit ears as a slightly less fatty alternative, especially as she's not going to be burning many calories over the next few weeks!

You might be better with these tbh - ears are are quite fatty and I know you've been trying to shift some weight off her (which won't be made easier with her enforced no exercise atm) - Zara won't notice she's getting less as she's still getting a treat :)

Aldi often have large boxes of tripe pieces, which get reduced a couple of weeks later.

Thanks - large quantity does not mean all for Zara.. heheheh Ewa gives the dogs one per day and not every day even... Just wanted a big pack so it would last a while as buying small packs of 4-5 is quite expensive

Zara is fed twice per day with all the other dogs now and won't see(read:steal) cat food so that alone will help with her weight ;)

So - any pointers as to where to get them in bulk and reasonable price please?

Pets at home have big boxes which are OK value wise as I usually see them priced around £1 / ear in small bags

Aldi do sometimes have them in box boxes but not regularly

£1.00 per ear is quite pricey actually - if one is looking to buy like 50 or so ;)

I'm pretty sure rising from the ashes is saying PAH's box price is OK value wise as it works out cheaper than the £1 per ear they are in lower quantities (not that £1 each is good value)

    That's exactly it!

They work out 58p / ear
