Also bear in mind that lenders do not make anything from people who rapidly pay everything off. If they see you consistently making the minimum payment (but never missing a payment nor otherwise misbehaving) then you will look like a profitable customer and may well be given access to products that would be denied to those who pay everything off.0

Depends how much you spend on the card. Activity creates income.
Also a balance transfer incurs an upfront charge. After that the lender gets the "cash" back so to speak. So can offer advances to other borrowers by relending the money. .0
