Opening a US dollar account as a British citizen

I'm not sure if my question belongs here, but I found another thread from several years ago on a similar subject, so I thought I'd start here.
My husband may be doing some consultancy work for a US company. Part of his salary will be paid in a UK bank in GBP, but there is a commission element which will be paid in US$. Ideally, we would like this paid into a US$ account/bank.
Can anyone suggest how we might go about opening a US$ account as a UK resident?

Pick any US bank of your choice and use Google to search for London branches. Contact them to see what they can/cannot do for you.0

The possible difference with us is that we aren't moving to the USA; we are staying in the UK.0 -
Hsbs , barclaysThe word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0 -
