Hi
My father passed away earlier this week and we are trying to sort out all his finances.
Most of the shares I am able to find and see that they are live, but I have the odd one which I'm a bit stuck on.
Zeneca Group PLC, I have certificates for my Mum and Dad all issued in 1993. Are these still valid?
I can see that there is an AstraZeneca price to where they merged but we have no new certificates. He wouldn't have sold these unless it was a forced payment.
Another is TSB Group PLC dated 1987 and 1989.
Lastly there are National and International Power. From what I have found out these should have been a forced payment on the buy out.
Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Have you tied the share holdings back to dividends received? Your late father should have retained dividend vouchers in respect of amounts received.0

Thanks for the reply. There are very few dividend vouchers, as all the dividends are being paid directly into a separate account. That account has several payments per year but being a book in a building society doesn't list who from.
Will wait for replies on here then if no luck contact the bank / society for more details.0 -

Bought out without the need to surrender the certificates?
The registrar for National Grid might be able to throw some light?
