Moving out of rented property how much would should I do?

    Just found my tenancy agreement it says the deposit amount and that it will be registered with a scheme!

    In which case you certainly do have your landlady by the goolies!

    No check-in inventory mean no proof of the condition of the property at the start of your tenancy.

    No deposit registered means you can go after her in court. The penalty for non-protection can be up to three times the deposit amount. I'd put this in writing to the landlady now, and suggest that the return of your deposit in full will mean you won't follow this up.

    simply tell her if your deposit is not returned within 7 days you are taking her to court for not protecting your deposit.

    You do not have to repaint.

    Takes pictures of all the flat/rooms. If you do go to court you may need them.

    Iv painted two downstairs rooms and touched up the hall, she wanted me to paint the 3 bedrooms which I just don't have time for!

    I certainly do a check list with her so I'm guessing one wasn't done! I'm just going to make sure it's clean now iv spent so much money on this house and she is beig so awkward!!!
