Repair lawnmower cable

Hi
Stupidly just broke our lawnmower cable. Its only broken in one place. Is there a diy way to fix it. It has fixed connector at one end. New one from bosch costs £32..thanks

Do you mean the electricity cable?
If so, just put a waterproof plug & socket at the break. Make sure you get them the right way round so there is no danger of killing anyone!0 -

OTOH, it is generally possible to disassemble the mower case and fit a totally new cable of whatever length you need (done this several times!)0
