Repair lawnmower cable

Hi

Stupidly just broke our lawnmower cable. Its only broken in one place. Is there a diy way to fix it. It has fixed connector at one end. New one from bosch costs £32..thanks

Do you mean the electricity cable?

If so, just put a waterproof plug & socket at the break. Make sure you get them the right way round so there is no danger of killing anyone!

OTOH, it is generally possible to disassemble the mower case and fit a totally new cable of whatever length you need (done this several times!)
