Hi all
Was wondering if someone could recommend a cheap tablet for my young son please. Was wanting an Android one as i'm used to it but am open to suggestions. Don't want to spend a lot as it'll no doubt be dropped and scratched, will only really be used for games.
Thanks.

Depends what it is going to be used for, what size screen etc. you can pick up a cheapo one from ebay for £50+0

I've just bought a refurbed hudl2 from Tesc0 direct for £79. It is very good.
If you have vouchers you can double up with the boost.0 -
I'd also recommend a Hudl.
DH got one earlier this year and loves it. Excellent value for money. A new Hudl 2 is only £99, less if you have clubcard vouchers to spend. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Thanks for the replies. It would only be used for playing games and very rarely surfing the net. I'll have a look at the Hudl, thank you.0

If you don't have Clubcard Points, Tesco Direct have a Promo Code; £10 off a £75 spend. Meaning that you can get a new hudl2 for £89 or their refurbished hudl2 for £69.
The also have the older hudl1 refurbished for £49, if you want to keep costs down.0 -
Do you know which games would be played ?0

Just bought a huddle 2 - great specs for the price, runs stock android (mostly) and has reviews by the tech biggies that are excellent. With my clubcard points it was £45!0

Another vote for Hudls, - 1 or 2. Both are good. I have one and my grandchildren all have them. You can get good cases for them from tesco, mine was £15 but there are others, and it's worth it.
All their friends have hudls too, so they obviously have a certain element of streetcred, which is apparently important!!0
