  • surely you haven't put this down in your IE???:rotfl:
Condoms are free from docs, toys and clothes can be made out of other things (use your imagination, it can be a great place)lol, so doubt you'd be allowed money for them.

I think the OR might if you list is as an essential and then can argue your case. For eg, if you don't have a Family Planning Clinic near you to get free condoms, then you would have to factor in either the higher travel costs, or the costs of birth control, I would imagine whichever was lower. After all, I think (imho) it is reasonable to have a sex life (depending on your moral and religous views of course, but then if the OR differed to you here, surely they are being discriminatory against your beliefs?) and unless you want children/more children, which would cost far more than the condoms, then it's essential (if you are using them instead of something else for a myriad of reasons).

With regards to the clothing, you can slip it in your clothing allowance surely, and just put the higher water rate in - I thought the OR allowed you what was a reasonable living allowance for you (ie, in my case, my rent is stupid but then there are lots of reasons for it, so it hopefully will be allowed). If you need a water bed for (you could say) a bad back or something, then surely it will be allowed? Or would you have to get a medical note?

Thank you Pixie as you say all relationships must be healthy and maintained with physical affection and fun as well as love.
Good quality items are not cheap gels, creams, would go under toiletries I sould think.Latex and rubber difficult on a low budget I supose however if one explaind to the OR it was essential medical recriation it may be allowed.

Well Mike you are allowed a recriation allowance and if you plead that undertaking new relationships is benificial (sorry about spelling) to your mental state and you require certain items to protect this surly a reasonable RO would understand.
