I went fishing last weekend and caught 2 good carp ,22lb and 23lb. I'd forgotten to take my camera
As I always take my mobile phone, an old Nokia. I've been thinking it would be a good idea to get a mobile with a camera.
Can you please advise me of a good value, simple mobile phone with a camera so in the future I can photo my fish catches. Then, they're not just a story :rotfl::rotfl:
Your replies will be appreciated.

Impossible to say, there are so many options contract, pay as you go and how good a camera you need and of course it then comes down to how much you want to pay?

As missile says, completely depends on your budget and the quality of camera you want. Most phones will come with a 2 megapixel camera these days, but if you were buying the phone mainly for the camera it might be worth getting something a little more expensive (e.g. Sony K800i, but over £100 thats probably way over your price range I would imagine from original post).0

Thanks for your responses.
It would be low budget and 2 megapixels should be ok. It's just to record the event.
I see some phones now and they seem so complicated. Too complicated for an old wrinkly like me. I haven't worked out the video player yet :rotfl:
I'm just looking for cheap and cheerful. I thought about a cheap digi camera in my tackle box. But, I guessed by the time I went to use it, the batteries would be flat. But with my mobile always being charged I thought I should get the pix if it had a camera. You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" Large print giveth - small print taketh away. I've got the k800i and it's the first phone I've had that actually takes pictures worth showing anyone.
That said, if you're really not bothered about picture quality, maybe you could look at something like the Nokia 5140 - it's even splash resistant

You can get a K800i for under £90.
