Tablet with full size sd card slot

Title says it all really ! Looking for a tablet that will take the full size sd card from my camera. Any suggestions, budget a bit on the low side but it doesn't have to be all singing and dancing :rotfl:

it might be easier to get a microSD and an adapter for the camera.

phones and tablets dont generally have full size SD ports on them

no , but why not buy a new micro sd card with an adaptor for your camera , that way you could pull the micro card from the adaptor and insert in your tablet

    an example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-UK-Stock-8GB-Micro-SD-SDHC-TF-Flash-Memory-Card-8G-SD-Card-Reader-Adapter-/381029582022?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item58b72204c6

    Don't think it exist.

Buy a micro SD card with adapter for your camera instead.

Thanks for replies/suggestions. The reason I was looking at a tablet is because the sd card is used in a wildlife camera on our allotment and at the moment we are taking the laptop along to view the pics. Did try a micro card with adapter but it doesn't seem to fit into the very awkwardly placed slot easily.

umm , a micro sd card in an adaptor , as per the link I posted above is IDENTICAL in size to a standard sd card , not smaller , not bigger , not fatter , not thinner its the IDENTICAL size

Ps its the same size , in case you missed that

I agree with the posters above about using a micro SD card with an adapter in the camera.

However, just to give another option, you might be able to use USB OTG with a USB card reader (not all devices support USB OTG though).

Also, my old Asus Transformer has a full size SD card slot when the keyboard is connected - not sure if the newer models have this though. Kind of takes away the point of having a tablet rather than a small laptop.

It's not a tablet, but my C720 Chromebook has a full sized SD card slot.

    .

Another vote for a tablet that has OTG ("On the Go") capability - makes it far more expandable. Both our ASUS tablets have it (as well as 3G SIM slots which means we can use them almost anywhere With the GifGaff SIMs we have!). Cost for an adaptor is about £4 for the adaptor, and about the same for a full size SD adapter.
