Easy (high value) stuff to sell on eBay?

Options
Hey..

This isn't a how to make money quick kind of question.. more just how to convert my Amazon voucher to PayPal..

I recently got a high value Amazon voucher which is of no use to me really, and I'd rather have PayPal, so I can buy stuff on eBay..

I think the best way is to sell stuff on Amazon, on eBay, and then have it directly sent to the buyer. But I'm not sure what I can sell, that won't make me too much off a loss.

Any advice appreciated.. The more higher value the item the better!

Also, I understand that it may sell slightly cheaper on eBay (but if it's worth more, even better), and know I will lose out with eBay and PayPal fees, but that's fine too.

Thanks all.

So let me get this right, you want to buy something on amazon using your voucher and then sell that on Ebay to get money to spend ??

Why dont you just sell your amazon voucher ??

That makes more sense then ;)

DVDs are probably the most easiest I guess, how about looking at the amazon chart and comparing the sale values with Ebay, or are we talking a large amount of money ?? I have no idea over the big value stuff, maybe if you narrowed it down a bit ??

You're in same position as me. I now have £900 worth of amazon gift voucher credit on my account. I didn't sell the voucher directly as there might be complications such as the buyer saying it didn't work. If anyone knows something I get roughly the same value for on eBay let me know :T

I wouldn't bother with DVD's as the market on ebay has dropped by combination of copies and the cheapness of them. I would try my luck with Lego toys especially discounted ones on Amazon over the next while and sell them in November/early December.

Another reason to be careful of selling DVDs is that Ebay charges a 9% commission on the sale of media products.

Then if you factor in accepting PayPal, the charge would be around 4%. So 13% of the final value would go straight to Ebay (as they own PayPal)

That tends to reduce the margin somewhat !

However, given that, the big question is why there are so why are so many small retailers clamoring to become Ebay Shops ? Well perhaps this theory involving Google is onto something!
