Bit off topic, but if you were supposed to be paid today, but won't actually receive your money until Monday, you might want to talk to your employer about that - they should at least pay any costs you incur as a result or maybe even sub you some money until Monday, if you are that tight for cash.

thank you for the advice foot guy, we are ok at the mo, it was just the dd today that threw us, we will be fine till monday and can actually put some money in the savings next month

Also make sure you look into other suppliers. It takes minutes to do and you may get some money back for switching.

It may be that BG are the best for you (though I doubt it), but you wont have lost anything by checking.
