Most of the 'paper' content of the newpapers is available online - if you're paying for the internet it seems strange to fork out again for a paper, voucher or not lol, I'm far to tight to do that
Even if you save 20p a day it's a £1 a week, which adds up.
The Old Style boards have some great tips for saving money. Meal planning is something I've found really helpful, I honestly don't throw any food away now and it's great to know that I've got something in for dinner when I get home. Taking packed lunches/a flask of coffee saves sooo much money too.
Have you looked at switching your utilities suppliers? Sometimes that can get you quite a good saving. I also get Tesco clubcard points for every pound I spend on my gas and electricity, it's not a lot but it helps when you get the vouchers.0 -
Hi postgradtash,
Welcome to MSE!
I would suggest having a look around the other boards for moneysaving ideas, particularly Old Style.
What study are you doing? xGone ... or have I?0 -
