I picked up a screw in the tread of one of my brand new ten day old tyres whilst on holiday. I took it to MH Motors in an industrial unit near Staunton in ther Vale, Nottinhamshire, and they very quickly plugged it for £15.
The wheel nuts were tightened with a torque wrench which is always a sign of a decent outfit.
A thousand miles later and the tyre is still holding pressure so I declare a good job was done for a reasonable price, saving me the expense of another new tyre.

I married my cousin. I had to...
I don't have a sister.
All my screwdrivers are cordless.

I picked up a screw in one of my front tyres on my 2-week-old car (in June 2012). I repaired it myself (without having to remove the wheel) using one of these kits. At the 18k miles service I had the wheels swapped around (front to back etc.).
The same tyres are still on my car almost 3 years later - the repaired tyre doesn't lose any pressure at all. (At least not more so than the others).0
