lidl parking charge

hi,
received a parking charge notice for £90 or £45 if paid in 28 days for overstaying by 1 hr. The fee seems extortionate and i'm not sure if it can be appealed. Any advice? Should we offer a reasonable sum?

Hi Lizzie157,
The precise circumstances don't matter.
Edit your post to remove the details that could identify the case to the PPC - they do trawl the forums.
Also phrase it in third person. E.g The reg.keeper has received a pcn for an alleged overstay in a Lidl car park .....
Reading the sticky thread "**NEWBIES!!...... " will help you to understand why I've made the suggestions above.
The Registered Keeper should appeal the charge using the correct legal arguments to be found in the 1st appeal template in that thread providing this took place in either England or Wales and the rk is also resident in either country too.0 -
Do what ColliesCarer said. Read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then appeal as per ALL the points in the appeal template. Do not offer to pay anything, do not reveal who was driving.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
