Try emailing your problem/complaint to the following addresses at SP:

My problem went on for four months.

Putting it on Scotish Power's Facebook page gave me results in less than a week.

    Very much worth a try.

Firstly Scottish Power's(SP) account system has gone into melt down since the installation of a new computer system, so you are one of many customers(including myself) who are suffering from their incompetence.
I've seen this said so often but a lot of customers - including me - had problems before the new system.
With me it was getting a closed account wound up .
The only thing that worked and got any action was posting a complaint on their Facebook page. Not even a Facebook user - I joined just for this purpose.
    ;)

Edit: just seen the post above!
