Thanks for every ones advice, however, I have proof that I sent goods back and the address that I returned them back to, also when speaking to a member of staff she mention that they could of been delivered back to any number of dispatch offices and it would take a considerable amount of time for them to actually show that they have received them back, in this event I would receive a gift card for the amount that I had spent and not a full refund. Do I have any protection to claim the amount I have paid out as I paid with a credit card?

Best to send them an email with a copy of your proof of posting and a copy of my post above, including the link, advising that you expect a refund to the payment method within 14 days of the date of the email and failure to comply will result in further action to recovery the money due as well as a complaint to trading standards.
