My address (not ID) used for fraud...?

I've recently had 2 letters arrive (from Vodafone & EE) to 'my' address, but to a name not known to us. On ringing both Companys it appears that the villain walked into a Carphone Warehouse and using fake ID, walked out with two iphone 6s. He used my address to do this, but not my ID or bank details. I reported it to the NFIB, too.
Now, I'm now getting letters - still addressed to his name, but my address - demanding payment.
How can I protect my 'address', rather than my ID?
(I've checked Equifax and everything else is fine)
I will add - I shred everything. He's just picked my address and has forged some kind of document.
Help?

I would send the letters back as not known at this address or something.
You can't really 'protect' your address. If the person incurs debt it doesn't 'blacklist the address' or anything like that, it will only affect that person.
Who do you know they walked away with 2 iPhone 6's? Surely CPW can't give you that information due to DPA.0 -
...I spoke to both Vodafone and EE and in the course of discussing 'how' this could of happened, they advised me that it was at a CW store (wouldn't say which)...Same name on both accounts. I have the letters showing the tariffs/bank details taken (not mine).0

Your address does not need protecting as it does not have a credit history. This only applies to individuals.
Just send any mail back marked 'not at this address'.0 -
Hi
The others are correct that liability and credit scoring is based on your name rather than your address.
If it gives you peace of mind you can register you details including your address with Cifas, and extra checks would be required for credit applications using those details. It costs £20 per year though.
