Looking at future

My boyfriend wants to get engaged and I'm not sure how it would work ref: benefits. At the moment I am working part time and get help.
If I get engaged would things change?
He would not move in until we are married, he lived with his parents (part ease, part help them make ends meet).
I know that if he moved in or we were married I have to tell benefits, but if I am engaged, living apart do I have to? Just trying to make sure I get it right, moved last week and spent a total of 5 1/2 on phone to all benefits people to sort it all out!

No, they won't change until you are 'living' together.0
