Thanks everyone - I guess I sit n wait for the leeches to make the first move.
  • Morning chaps,

Ok - I have received a demand for payment from a company called DRP.

I really don't know how these guys sleep easy in all honesty. They are claiming £140 which is laughable and plain extortion.

I stand by my previous explanation and am happy to dispute even at court level.

I clearly am not going to pay this but in all honesty (I know this is classed as breaking people down) do not want this to spiral into hundreds and hundreds of pounds by proxy of their inventive numbers. Maybe I should issue a claim against them for the same for shear inconvenience!

Do I sit on this and ride the wave - the letters I can deal with but do not want this to get out of hand - as this is a pretty much unregulated area - I want to be in (a) the strongest position possible, i.e. factual and (b) want to administer as much unpleasantness for them whilst also being armed should a court summons arrive. Is this even enforceable in court being a private land matter?

    Thanks.

Please read the NEWBIES thread about DRP and please we don't need to hear about any letters in the chain ever again! Please spare us and instead click on the links until you are bored silly reading how many times in a decade we've had threads about that tedious letter chain of rubbish.

The sticky thread tells you what to do, and please nothing about 'Zenith' either, nor the DRP letter that will arrive in 2 weeks' time. Nothing ever needs posting on the subject, you'll see when you read the sticky thread! Sorry to be curt with my reply but please...read the sticky thread first about this stage.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
