I've done a tester. I checked my phone balance and then entered. That was prob about ten mins ago. I just checked my balance again and so far, it's the same. I'll let you know if I get charged.

Edit at 3 pm, same day: I just did another balance check and it's the same. Can't promise, but I guess it would've been deducted by now if they were going to. Obviously, if I notice a change, I'll let you know, but seems to be ok for the free entry for me. I'm on PAYG, in case that makes a difference.

Sorry to bump, but not sure why you thought it was a free text route - it says:

"Texts will cost £1.50 from the UK plus your standard network rate.


Entrants will receive a bounce back message to confirm entry."

There is however a free entry online (at the bottom of all the T&Cs). Looks like you'll be paying, sorry...:o

I didn't think it was a free text route, that's my whole point: I didn't text them!! I entered online via the "free online route" but after inputting my phone number, I got a text from them implying I'd been charged; this was confirmed when I checked my phone account.

And I've just had an email back from Radio City saying I'll be refunded, although nothing back from Key 103 as yet!

Sorry for being Bumpy , just wondering... I entered pretty soon after both comps were first posted today and have had no text from them or any indication (as yet) that I may have been charged- does anyone know if everyone charged will have been texted or will some of only find out when our bills come (or we check them online)?
It seems weird that it wouldn't be the same for everyone but I definitely entered before others who have had texts (and before the stations were notified and acknowledged the problem). Anyone know from last time? Cheers in advance
