BT 6p call set up charge etc.

Am I right that this is to be new call set up fee? When is it coming in? What will other call rates be? If some kind soul will tell me or give me a link, I'll be v. grateful.

BT introduced a 3p 'call set up fee' on 1/10/06 (see HERE) - when they scrapped their minimum call charge (which was then 5½p).Am I right that this is to be new call set up fee? When is it coming in? What will other call rates be? If some kind soul will tell me or give me a link, I'll be v. grateful.
On 1/8/07, it doubled to 6p (see HERE).
Other changes which occurred on 1/8/07 are also shown in the above link to gt94sss2's thread of 1/6/07.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
