low rate dla for children

my sister gets this for her son, but she has had no other information about any other things she could claim, eg someone told her about the cinema pass she could get. does anyone know if she could get anything else. thanks

My son gets low rate DLA and if I take him to an exhibition or a play I ask about cheap tickets for the disabled - some organisations will offer cheap or free tickets to disabled people and their carer. If the child doesn't have an obvious disability you would have to take a DLA award letter along as proof.

Sorry I can't think of much else, most concessions are limited to people on middle or higher rate care. I'm sure someone else will have better suggestions

some theme parks give discounts to disabled kids and there carer's
i know for instance that flamningo land lets disabled kids and there carer in at half price, i just showed them the DLA award letter
