Travel Insurance Covering Journey Back from Airport?

Hi,

I don't know if anyone can help me with this. My husband is currently in San Francisco for work and has broken his arm. He is due to arrive back friday morning and had left our car at Heathrow. Obviously he's not going to be able to drive back from the airport and I was wondering if anything like this is covered with his travel insurance? Either getting him back from the airport and covering the car staying their for now, or someone else driving it back - anything really?!

Work should have him covered with their travel cover.

You'd need to speak to them to find out how they'll do it.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Can you take public transport to the airport and collect husband and the car?

Not really - he lands at 7am and it would take a good 3/4 hours on public transport. Not totally out of the question, of course but in that time I have to get the big two kids to school for 8.30 , be back at the school to see my son off on a PGL trip at 12.30 and then back again at 3 for school pick up. Plus I have a two year old who would have to accompany me. So not impossible but really not ideal and I'm having minor palpitations trying to work out how I would manage it.
