Hi,
I am a first time buyer and viewing properties at the moment. I have viewed a property in Loughton whch tick all the boxes but not sure about the area.
Its loughton broadway and am getting mixed reviews about that area. If someone can guide me, it will be of great help.
We want to make sure that the area is safe enough for kids to travel alone from/to their schools.
Regards

Debden is the "less good" end of Loughton.A relatively high percentage of social housing
It is not the Wild West - but, in the area,if you can afford to live elsewhere, that's what you do
However,if this is what you can afford in terms of space and location,I would not wish to put you off
It is not intrinsically unsafe, and you have in my view no need to worry about schoolchildren travelling around school hours
Out and about after midnight on Saturday I would be more cautious0 -
Thankyou so much. It will be really useful. I will look at other areas too to compare the locality and space.0
