Yes I selected the lender purposely because of the CRA they use, i.e. Pay Day Loans show from 2012 on the other 2 CRA's.

I answered the application honestly and fully when it asked about financial commitments in arrears etc.

I wonder if some people may be tempted to lie if they think the lender can't find out about something.

I don't know a lender which would have any issue with PDL activity from 2+ years ago.

Yeah - I'll be honest and would say I was thinking of leaving the missed payments off but I dropped a sentence on the application to say when they were from etc.

Also that's good to know - I thought that might be the case but still was paranoid therefore selected the lender very much with that in the back of my mind. Probably wouldn't have been too much of an issue as you say.

Hi Kingstreet, unfortunately my lender did! - Dudley Building Society said they wouldn't underwrite my application due to them seeing I had PD loans from 2010/2011 (even though this was stated on the DIP form and approved) -They said they have recently changed their criteria to state that they won't lend to anyone who has ever had a pay day loan :(
