You become a mortgage broker John.

Then you get to ask all the Lenders.

Thats the thread you want - although it does not have all the lenders how still a very good list.

That post is 5 years old!
I update my spreadsheet every time I meet a lender (typically every 3-6 months for the ones I use regularly) and I have to make changes to that.

Also, do not assume if they use one agency for loans or credit cards they will use the same for Mrotgages... found that one out the hard way.

Some lenders will have it on their website, a lot will not.

Alot of the replies give good information also and the OP has continued to update the list in the first post.

It's a good starting point - I used that to narrow down my lender but also then checked with the lender (on their website and also over the phone) before making an application.

If it were that easy the information that CRA's provide would be worthless.

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Problems with your credit file mean you should be working with a broker in any case.

Did you pick a lender which doesn't take data from the version of your credit file you know to be poor?

If so, did you answer the questions on the application honestly?
