Do you need to inform tax credits if your income support has ended because your child has turned 5, even though you are not claiming job seeker's or working?

Yes you do, as it will put you onto the income test instead of automatically getting maximum credits. It might not make a difference to the amount you get but yes you should tell them.

And keep a photocopy (or a photo) of the letter you send them, just in case they deny receiving it in future.0
