Nationwide adopt the marmite approach
If they like the case and it is well packaged, it goes like a dream.
If there is any small variable such as right to buy, issues booking survey, document not easily legible then it often turns into a saga
This timescale puts your case in the latter scenario and therefore it is anyone's guess
Surely no-one puts on auto updates by text???I am a Mortgage Broker

I didn't even know Nationwide offered this, until I had a random text this morning from Nationwide telling me "Good News, we've received your mortgage application."
In all fairness, it did go in this morning from our broker, just didn't know we got this service.0 -
If you have any odd rambling texts, please don't be alarmed, as their systems are clearly a little dodgy. I've had half finished texts / texts repeating information incorrectly as in this forum. So please check with your broker if you're worried / confused, or with he lovely people,in these forums0

You'll discover that 'service' is a strong word to use for the auto text system.I am a Mortgage Broker

Thanks Dave Ham.
Broker called to say NW are happy with initially requested docs (month bank statement, p60 for one job, payslip for salaried job, sa302s and ID) now they are looking at the docs they received on Monday (utility bill with "flat 504" not just "504") and tax overview.
They are looking at these new docs today and should then be able to give a final response.
Apparently Nationwide do a full credit score for DIP (credit account shows they did as I went from 999 to 980 in a day)
Fingers crossed !!0
