Nationwide texts ??

Options

Update. Nationwide did a valuation and it came back as satisfactory. My app has since been with underwriters who requested text overviews to go with my Sa302s and a utility bill marked "flat 504" not just "504".
All sent on Monday via email and fine
Broker says then we should hear in 2 days.
I just get a text from Nationwide saying valuation booked for May 19.
Is this a tech error? It's already been and is fine... Any advice? Emailed broker. This whole process is just too stressful!

A good reason to de-select auto updates when submitting a case with any Lender.

It does not help the communication and just leads to confusion.

The worst bit about the Nationwide text system is that after fighting a clients case for 4 weeks or however long they text the client to say its offered and steal away the first peace of good news you have had for the client in weeks!!!!!!

    Grrrrr

Any broker who lets anyone else tell the client the case is offered is deranged.

Many thanks all! Broker spoke to Nationwide who confirmed the error. Apparently my case has had all documents assessed and the few extra requested ones (tax overviews and another utility bill for address proof) will be done tomorrow / Friday and then hopefully a decision. I am telling myself no news is good news and that if NW had a problem it would have been flagged by now?!

That's good news. We spoke to the bank on Monday and got told it will take about three days to assess the valuation and the final documents received on Monday. However yesterday got a call from the Mortgage Broker to say that our mortgage had been offered. Then checked my phone to see that I had received three texts at once; to notify me the documents had arrive, valuation received and accepted and formal mortgage offer issued.
I won't worry too much about the texts. Also I got the call before I saw the text, it didn't steal the MA's joy lol she sounded so pleased for us and it was really lovely being notified by her. :j

What's the usual timeframe with Nationwide. I had a DIP and then broker applied fully Tues April 28th. Valuation was 30th and fine. Bank holiday Monday didn't help, few extra tax overview / utility bill things required last week. Still no decision. Am I being impatient ? Have no idea of Nationwide's usual timeframe. 41% deposit FTB affordability all fine credit was 999 until the hard search from NW took it to 980
