get yourself a nationwide flexdirect account as it earns you 5% on up to 2.5k (there are plenty of people including myself that can give you a referal so you get a little sign up bonus)

There I would go for the lloyds club account as that earns you 4% on up to 5k and you get a free additional benefit of choice (either: 6 cineworld tickets a year, magazine subscription, gorumet society card, and may be a couple of other)

finally the santander account as other have mentioned, which is 3% on balances of between 3-20k, BUT you get cashback on various bills including council tax. (They have a calc on their website to help you out)

those accounts should sort you out for the next 27.5k of savings :)

Oh and dont forget to make sure your halifax account is a rewards account and transfer in and out 1k a month to get a free £5 :)
