get yourself a nationwide flexdirect account as it earns you 5% on up to 2.5k (there are plenty of people including myself that can give you a referal so you get a little sign up bonus)
There I would go for the lloyds club account as that earns you 4% on up to 5k and you get a free additional benefit of choice (either: 6 cineworld tickets a year, magazine subscription, gorumet society card, and may be a couple of other)
finally the santander account as other have mentioned, which is 3% on balances of between 3-20k, BUT you get cashback on various bills including council tax. (They have a calc on their website to help you out)
those accounts should sort you out for the next 27.5k of savings
Oh and dont forget to make sure your halifax account is a rewards account and transfer in and out 1k a month to get a free £50
