Does anyone know if the valuation an estate agent gives is published if we decide not to sell? Curious to the value of our house, but not happy to have the valuation out there for the world to see! Any tips?

I certainly wouldnt think so!
Estate agents never gave us a valuation as such, but they gave us a rough price that they think they would be able to market it for.
I guess an estate agents valuation is just a figure they recommend they might be able to sell the house for - usually high so that they can get you to sign up with them!0 -
I wondered if they share the info with Rightmove type sites or even elsewhere for council tax banding or statistics, any estate agents know for sure?0

Never heard of valuation, or market appraisal to use the official term (only a chartered surveyor can actually perform what the law recognises as a valuation) figures been shared with a third party firm, or published anywhere.
I've certainly never known Rightmove or any of the other portals to ask for this kind of data from agents.0 -
With so much data available on line regarding house prices I just wondered..., thanks for clarifying.0
