Despite being told that we would need to make a new claim and apply for PIP when my daughter turned 16, , we received a letter stating that in our area she can continue with DLA at this moment and received a DLA form DLA434 Adult January 2015 called "looking again at a claim for a person aged 16 or over ".
I am completing it for her (as appointed) and am noting that the section "your care needs during the day" page 17 , questions 37-56 do "not need to be answered if you
- do not want to claim for help with personal care
- have claimed for help with personal care and nothing has changed.
The " have claimed for help with personal care and nothing has changed" would seem to apply to us as she currently receives a high rate of personal care, and nothing has changed since her last application for DLA last year .
Am I right in thinking that? Is there anything I should be aware of?
Thanks.
I have 8 days to complete this form!

as it is an adult claim ( from a child claim) i would complete all secretions as fully as you can.
what a child is expected to manage for themselves is different from what an adult is assumed to be able to do0 -
I completed each section because the previous award under DLA had been made when my son was 8 and he was obviously rather different at Rising 16, although his level of need was roughly the same the reasons were slightly different.xx0

i only filled one in last year at 15 so nothing has changed. I will complete the additional notes and explain how help is still needed.0
