My daughter needs a new camera and has a budget of around £70.
Needs to take decent pics, but I think the main use will be for recording singing, playing the keyboard etc.
So video, sound qualities rather than picture taking.
I know Google is my friend
but, I would rather have rec from forum members

For £70? No“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Thanks very much, off to take a look.
She doesn't want anything amazing, just something that will do a decent job.
The camera that she was bought by grandma was a Canon PowerShot A490, which has lasted a few years. However, now that she is doing her tutorials, she would like something better. Especially sound wise.0 -
Sound wise, they'll all be a bit rubbish unfortunately. You'd be lucky to find one that records in stereo. You may almost get better sound using a good smartphone and an external stereo microphone0

Seems to me you're approaching it from the wrong direction.
If it's mainly going to be used for video then it makes sense to me to buy a video camera, they almost all have the facility to take stills as well.
Not that £70 will get you much either way.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Ok, the budget has been increased slightly, what do folks think of this one for £99.99.

80 people that bought one from Argos seem to like it. Quite a lot, actually.0 -

It certainly looks that way. However, as Argos don't display your review without checking it first, I often wonder if they hold back many bad reviews.
I know they shouldn't but.................0 -
I can't say about that particular model, as I have the TZ30 which is a great wee camera, mine is a few years old now.
I think when Panasonic bring out a new model, they bring out a cheaper version too with fewer features, so for the TZ30, it was the TZ25, for the TZ40, it was the TZ35 and so forth. I hope that I've got that right, am sure someone will correct me otherwise.

For the price, I think that the TZ35 is coming out very well.0 -
