One last thing if I may, don't discount your own ability to earn something. I was perhaps lucky as I was at the time working as an accountant so took on some private work to ride me over. It wasn't.a huge amount at the time just a few pounds a week pin money, but from home and between feeds and nappy changes. It really wasn't a great deal of money but it meant we had a change from beans on toast sometimes until we got ourselves straight.
Take in a bit of ironing that you could do when your husband is home to care for the baby. Maybe find something that sells on eBay, or maybe you have a skill that can be translated into money. just a few extra pounds a week can make the difference, and perhaps make you feel better about things. It won't pay off your debts, but maybe it could be enough to pay for a mother and baby group (some make a small charge for refreshments or hall hire) to get you out and about, or for an occasional treat.
As has been suggested, get some proper help on the debt boards by posting your SOA , then perhaps look at the other boards to find ways of saving money by batch cooking or shopping around.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Another vote here for getting yourself over to the debt board. Your post reads as if you have done little to batter these debts into submission, and are simply making the repayments on them (which will last for ages).
I COMPLETELY REALISE THAT I AM MAKING ASSUMPTIONS BY SAYING THAT! - but this advice is not only to you, but to anyone reading who is in a similar situation. Go to the Debt board and see if you can come up with an active strategy to get a handle on these debts and see what your options are. You might be able to settle some of the debts or even write some of them off, but people will certainly help you with your income and expenditure if you are prepared to take responsibility as a family.Ex board guide.
