If everyone declared after 16 years of paying in that it was time to take back, we'd all be pretty stuffed.0

Yes the older 2 are in school during the day and the baby is at home.
My course is approx 1hr drive away from home Beginning at 9am and finishing at 4.30pm 5 days per week - I understand this is because I have an additional Maths class to attend.
Does the college have a creche which could take your baby so your husband can sleep while the older 2 are at school?
I've worked with Access students for years and you have to accept that sacrifices will need to be made. Personally, I'd wait a year or so until the baby's older and you've had time to sort out your finances, otherwise you're just going to lurch from one financial problem to another.0

I am going back to college FT in September to do an access course, with a view to going to Uni next year. We have 3 kids and I am wondering if we would be better off for my husband to give his job as a s/e taxi driver and stay at home with the kids, rather than paying out for childcare.
Does anyone know what benefits we could claim if this were the case? None of the calculators online support student information!
 Thanks in advance
Try looking around for the access course as they don't have to be full time. My daughter is presently doing the nursing one and it's one full day and one evening each week at college plus whatever homework is necessary, she is also employed four days a week. It's someone else's fault.0
