No payslip from last employer

Hi, I left my previous job 3 weeks into February, the pay date was a week after and I never received my last payslip, I got a letter a couple of days after I left saying I would get my payslip and p45 posted to me but only got the p45, I also did not get paid on the paydate, I do understand I may not have been due pay as I had taken more holidays than should have for the alloted time so far, but I feel I should have gotten a payslip to confirm this? What should I do?

Have you tried contacting them since you received the P45 and asking them for a final payslip ?

The P45 should have the total for all pay slips in that year, although it is useful to have the payslip too.
