Appeal letter worked!

I just wanted to say 'thank you' to all the people who have written threads on how to get your parking fine quashed. I was in the process of paying a parking ticket that I received from asda car park for staying over the 2 hrs free parking. I was a genuine customer but had already discarded my shopping receipts as it was just grocery shopping. I wanted to talk to a customer services rep for smart parking as I had only just received the pcn before the 2 week initial payment period was up and I didn't want to pay the £70 fine it had risen to. I happened to put smart parking into Google and this thread appeared......it saved me a lot of money and stress. I used the letter template on the 'newbie' thread and they sent me a letter back saying my pcn had be cancelled. The wonders of Google and people who care! Thank you once again.:j
