Am i being overpaid?

Hi guys, I currently claim working tax credits from April last year for roughly £21 a week, I was entitled to around £1050 for the year.

I thought that this april, that would stop. But somehow it's carried over and I'm now getting £18 a week. Am I being overpaid or is this common or what? I don't want to be overpaid and have to pay it back... I'm just wondering how I'm still being paid a year later.

Regards

I don't know for sure, but I think your income might be too high for WTC

your income is way too high for you to still be entitled.
for a single person, the limit is around 13k.

any overpayment will be calculated when you renew, so i suggest you keep it to one side, ready to pay back.
you will have been overpaid since 6th april, so be sure to factor this amount in as well

That's great thanks. As you can see my wage as massively increased from a new job in the last year. I'll be sure to set this aside and be prepared to pay back. Thanks
