  • Know exactly what you mean.

My work has a weekly e-mail offering shifts out for 2-3 nights every week, sometimes more and Sat/Sundays 12 hour shifts. Just couldn't do it anymore, I need my two days off together, and am thinking I now need 3 - 4 days off together. :rotfl: ;)
Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's

I used to be part time and even though I can work from home I still find it a long week. 3 days a week was brilliant! I miss being part time!

  • That sounds like bliss. Ive never been part-time and now it's just me trying to clear this £261,500 mountain I can't see that happewning any time soon - not that it's an option in my job any way :(

Keep at it, every day is a day closer! 4490 days to go - or so the bank thinks!

Thanks for popping in MM. You just don’t know where life will take you. Keep chipping away and your mortgage will be going the right direction. :j If you’d told me 10 years ago that I’d be earning what I earn now I’d never have believed it. As I’m contracting I do have to remember that this is short term and may not last for ever.

Good luck with your journey- do you have a diary I can drop in on?

  • Hi Firegirl……..Ive read your diary for years. So inspirational!

I have only recently started a diary. I shall work out how to post the link and send it over.

Not a lot there at the moment, but I shall start to to post more regularly, even about the small things :)

Bad news today...... I really am going to have to start dying my hair. I just have to be happy the amount I’ve saved on hair dye until now but the silvers are popping up now! It’s just gotta be done!
