didnt know that,,look foward to the begining of the fun0

I was told it would be around October 2015 for my son, but haven't heard anything since.0

The process is supposed to start Oct 2015 but, even if it does, it will take years for them to get through everyone and DWP have not released any info regarding how they intend to schedule people.0

To quote from an earlier post.
https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...a-may-2015.pdf
From July 2015, the last hanging postcodes fall off the tree for DLA - and no changes of circumstances for DLA are treated as DLA, all are treated as PIP.
From October 2015, all remaining claimants will be invited to make a claim for PIP. (invited here means 'claim PIP or you get nothing) Claimants will be randomly selected.
By 'late 2017' DLA will have gone, except for those aged over 65 by 8th april 2013, and everyone moved over to PIP.
People over that age - at the current time - are claimed to remain on DLA.
Fixed term awards ending before they 'get to' the person randomly will of course be assessed for PIP.
I suspect, though it's not been announced that fixed term awards ending 'soon' may be excluded from the random selection.0 -

And for those that became 65 after the 8th April 2013 will be in the first batch of those being moved over starting in October whether they have a fixed or indefinite DLA award.0 -
My understanding is that the first batch will be those who have turned 16. My son is scheduled for October 2015 but turned 16 in April last year.0
